Didn't this exist before? Google Goggles or something like that? Different featureset (I'm sure this is more advanced), but same mechanic. Interesting that they made a new brand instead of updating the old one.

Google just announced that Lens will be coming to Google Search and also that it can now highlight popular dishes at a restaurant just by snapping a pic of the menu

Great and user friendly tool

Pros:

Helps you find things that you can't simply describe with words

Cons:

If there are multiple things on the photo you can't choose between them. So Lens behave like a spoiled child and does what it wants :D

Lens is starting to get very interesting!
