@larry_barker great feature! Just wondering if all PR’s are automatically deployed as previews or if you could f.ex. use PR labels to enable/disable deployments?

My agency is an avid use of Glimpse, it has really helped my developers, QA and product folk do QA and confirm the code reviews are working correctly! We actually found out about Glimpse because we were about to build this product ourselves!
Larry Barker
@smayzes thank you Shawn for your support and feedback! So happy to hear Glimpse is helping you and your team!
Kyrylo Silin
Hey Larry, How does Glimpse handle multiple concurrent PRs for larger teams? Are there any plans to expand beyond Laravel to other frameworks in the future? Congrats on the launch!
Larry Barker
@kyrylosilin hey Krylo, thanks for your support and questions! What do you mean by multiple concurrent PRs? Each PR gets deployed to its own environment/site. You can configure how these are set up and triggered within Glimpse. As far as other frameworks, it’s hard to say at this point. There are plans to support other server and version control providers.

Star Boat
This looks fantastic, @larry_barker! Automating PR previews can truly change the game for Laravel developers. I’m curious about the setup process – is it really straightforward for teams with existing workflows? Also, how does Glimpse handle different environment configurations? Would love to know more about the security aspects for isolated previews! 🚀
Larry Barker
@star_boat Thank you for your support! It will work with any workflows, including trunk based development, gitflow, etc. We use trunk based so we can merge directly to main/master since each PR is tested in isolation, which means we don't end up with a staging/develop branch with blockers. When you connect your repo, you can configure your environment variables for that repo. As far as security goes, Glimpse doesn't store any of your code, so if you're already using Forge, whatever security practices you have in place with your servers there handle it. Glimpse can also enable security rules for your sites so they're protected with basic HTTP auth.

Found it through a random GitHub discussion, not bad but I think the setup could be more intuitive, would be cool to see some kind of built-in tutorial for beginners, any plans for that?
Larry Barker
@naptacofounder thanks for your feedback Arnaud! Which part of set up would you like to see a tutorial for?

Glimpse looks like a game changer for Laravel devs! 🎉 The integration with Laravel Forge is a significant boost for automated PR deployments. It's great to see tools that help streamline the workflow and reduce the headache of manual deployments. The real-time preview links are particularly useful for giving instant feedback, making it easier to catch issues early in the process. I'm excited to check out the documentation and get started—this could really enhance our team’s productivity. Kudos to @larry_barker for bringing this to the community! Can’t wait to see how it evolves with more features.

Glimpse functions effectively for our little team, but I'm interested to see how it performs in more complicated settings and bigger projects. Are there any restrictions that we should be aware of as our team size and repository connections expand?
