Joined the network this weekend! I think what will really differentiate this platform from other social networks is the one connection/day feature. I get inbound connection requests from people I don't know every day on LinkedIn, which really dilutes the value of my network there. By setting specific intentions for who you want to connect with and why, Girlboss stands to actually foster meaningful professional (or personal!) connections online.

I am surely not your target audience, but the idea is a good one, though the background, that there's no real equality yet nor a harassment-free space for women, is great. And your design is amazing. Really. I fell in love with it. It's clean, it's friendly, breathing, and open-minded. It sets the focus on the content and this is what matters.

@christian_kramp I know this is an old comment, but wanna point out that there’s no harassment-free space for anyone. IMO the solution is not to create a segregated space for each marginalized identity — that’s taking a step back.

Tried to sign up and wouldn't accept my Australian number. Disappointed the registration process stopped at this point. Could have said it was US-only earlier on.

Can't wait to share this with my daughter. She's 15, read GirlBoss last year, binges the reruns of the show on Netflix and is so inspired by being a GirlBoss. She keeps a journal of biz ideas and I love that Sophia is a mentor to her without even knowing. Congrats!

The UI is clear, bold and pleasing to look at BUT SERIOUSLY, another app “only for women”? I’m so tired of this growing trend. This is basically a modern LinkedIn but you have to be female to use it. And OF COURSE, women believe in astrology, so user profiles present star sign readings under “get to know me”, since apparently you can get to know a women by reading generic nonsense.
