Hey, Makers 👋 Since our initial release we've been refining existing functionality and adding new to make managing your products easier, yet trying to keep the app simple and small. If you've got a digital product and Jira/Trello feels too granular for your product planning needs, it is because these tools aren't meant for that. We've added goals (our take on OKRs) to align your roadmap with company goals. Objective’s key results can be of various types, including a binary outcome, a percent target, or any numeric value. We also improved our idea management features. You can now discuss product ideas with your team using our new comments feature. And we added markdown support! Of course at the core of shipit is still our product roadmap with simple drag-and drop functionality. By combining the product roadmap with OKRs and Ideas, in shipit you can now track the whole product lifecycle from idea to release, and at the same time make sure you work towards your company’s goals with OKR tracking. In a nutshell: ship what matters.

1. I always love tools that focus on solving very few problems very well (rather than those that try to fix everything, not so well) 2. Super happy to see a product tool geared toward alignment, rather than just planning. 3. I love the team! Such good people :) 5/5, I wish I had of hunted it myself! What do you think is the long-term vision of Shipit? What do you want to build this year, 5 years from now? Just curious.
Artjom Vassiljev
@avery_schrader Thanks a lot for the kind words. And I cannot not mention Avery, who is also a maker of https://www.producthunt.com/post.... Going back to your question, our long-term vision is that it is the primary tool that product managers use to support their work. This year: integrate Idea management with various Inbound channels such as CRMs, customer chats etc., as well as a public idea portal. 5 years is far out, but we imagine shipit to become increasingly automated and intelligent, in particular when it comes to aggregating customer feedback and prioritization.

I like that it's super focused on a niche. The problem I have had in the past with such tools is that you start with an empty house. You don't know where to start. Shipit solves that problem.
Artjom Vassiljev
@vishal_srivastava3 This is exactly what we're trying to achieve and not lose our focus along the way.

Kudos for launching the product

@emilyadams22 Emily, thank you :)

This is great! Does it support custom timeframes for OKRs? I know you say quarterly is best, but that's not how I would want to use it. Also, it would be great if you guys could integrate with Linear as well.
Artjom Vassiljev
Hey @ljcio, at the moment no custom timeframes for OKRs yet. But that's a brilliant idea that should be easy to add. We've just recently added support for multi-quarter items :) I will check Linear too.

Looks like an interesting product, unfortunately after registering, it shows a big screen stating it won’t work on an iPad :(
Artjom Vassiljev
@andre_foeken There is no support for mobile devices yet as working on a roadmap requires a larger screen. This is not to say that we will not add support to it. If you have suggestions, I'm all ears :)
