Hi guys, How did you integrate OKRs into the roadmap? Can I use these to track personal objectives or for my team only?

@olga_atreides Hey there. You can create quarterly objectives and key results, and then connect them to items on the roadmap to have a quick overview of how these relate and impact each other. For personal objectives you might be better off with a specialized tool like weekdone or similar, Shipit is for higher level goals that have an impact on your roadmap.

@olga_atreides Hey Olga, OKRs are on team level (or actually on product-level). No individual OKRs.

A happy Shipit user here 👋! We've been using it for the past 6 or so months to keep track of feature request and to maintain a high level overview of our product roadmap. It's super simple to use vs some of the other tools out there and helps to reduce our admin. Highly recommend to give it a go, if you'd like to keep things simple a fluid. Big plus for us is also the Pipedrive integration! Keep up the good work team.

Hey, Makers 👋 📖 Here’s the backstory of Shipit Having spent a lot of time working on product management in startups, tech giants, and agencies, we realized that we implement the same processes and techniques over and over, but were missing a great tool that connects everything. There was a roadmap spreadsheet which was linked to various other documents in Google Drive or on wikis. There are separate spreadsheets for prioritization, pulling data with Zapier scripts moving information from A to B. And it all worked perfectly for us, until my colleagues and friends from other companies started asking me to share these scripts and routines, explain the whole process. 😤 The problem How do you: - Share your product roadmap with your team, with the management, and with your investors - Keep your product plans always updated - How detailed should your documentation be for each planned feature - How do you make sure you don’t forget anything (for example letting Marketing know of a planned feature release) - How do you manage customer feedback in a quantitative way and incorporate it into your future plans - How do you involve the team in prioritizing your product initiatives, making sure everyone is heard? This is just a handful of questions that people ask when thinking about the product future. 🐞 Current status Since first releasing an MVP we’ve been gradually adding more and more features without sacrificing the simplicity, eliminated some nasty bugs, and gathered a lot of feedback from early adopters. We have first paying customers, and Shipit is now used and evaluated in all kinds of businesses. Of course, Shipit is being actively developed with lots of features planned. Further problems: some Canadian guy offered to help with the launch and fell off the radar promptly afterward. Good luck guys, you have a great team over there! So if I understand correctly, the main value prop here is easy sharing and easily ability to integrate with other tools while being easy to set up and implement in a new project?

@avery_schrader1 Ah, guess everyone got confused :) As for the value proposition, yes, we tried to make it very simple for startups to have a process for managing a product/project. When you integrate with Jira/Confluence or similar tools, for each item on the roadmap we create a product requirements document for you. And then of course there's easy sharing with the team.

@sergei_sapozhnikov Yes, you can make your roadmap public or embed it in your private wiki or website, but at the moment there is no support for custom styles or domain. Both however sounds like great ideas to add!
