Good Morning @dan_robins Absolutely - for us, marketing was just the starting point, until we realized that personas are at the core of so many things, especially UX and product development. Could you clarify a little: What exactly would you like GETitOUT to do in terms of user segmentation?

@dominik_wever Sounds great, I look forward to seeing how the product developments for the UX use case! Re user segmentation, I must caveat that I am still learning in this space myself. My understanding from our initial discovery with UX and user researchers, we found that 'segmentation' is just another way of approaching 'personas'. So rather than using a fictional 'persona', it attempts to go a little broader, and describe a segment of your users - which may have multiple attributes, habits etc (some of which may conflict). I hope that makes some sense!

Hi @dan_robins I think you're onto something there with your broader view of segmentation. In my experience, it boils down to how granular you want to get. For GETitOUT, we've done quite some persona research - and one of the most interesting things was coming up with the segmentation criteria how we would separate our personas: - Direct users (using personas for example in their startup) vs. indirect Users (like agencies do it for their clients) - Experienced users (using personas on a daily basis like growth marketers) vs. unexperienced (first-time founders) - Size of marketing team (solo-founder vs. small team vs. full-blown marketing team doing loads of persona research) Having found these segmentation criteria, we were able to deduce personas for each combination of the criteria - and even map it visually. Does that make sense? Or did you have something different in mind?

Hi @irina_haupt and @catherine_norris Sounds fantastic! Also, buyer personas are always "work in progress". They evolve and change over time, and if you can adapt your marketing and product - perfect! You might even go one level deeper and use more - granular - buyer personas, as GETitOUT makes it so quick to create them - and turn them into texts. So specifically, you could create landing pages, thank you pages, emails, etc. for very granular personas and thus improve your conversion rates. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself ;-)

Hi @kevin_t_ That's a great question! Our AI Persona Generator is not a completely automated product. Instead, it's meant to work hand-in-hand with you as the user: - The AI helps you in uncovering and expanding pain points and goals. - While doing that, you feed the AI with inputs that you've discovered in interviews & research. Our vision is that AI should amplify our human capabilities, not replace them completely. So you could either skip the AI/automation completely, which makes GETitOUT Personas a nice tool to organize and communicate your personas (all-in-one-place, export beautiful presentations to share with the team, etc.). Or you can use its AI capabilities to expand on your research - or replace it in certain parts, for example when extracting pains and goals from your competitors. Does that answer your question? Or what's your view on AI?

Hi @kevin_t_ Let me give you an example - in this case for benefits: - For your company, you can input the features of your product or the characteristics for your service. - Later, when you add new buyer personas, you create benefits for each persona, by simply clicking which features combine well with which pains/goals of that persona. GETitOUT then generates those benefits and high-converting texts to go along with them. So the better or more organized you enter features/characteristics for example, the better your persona's benefits (or value statements). There's a lot more to input - I'm happy to walk you through it and exchange ideas in a quick video meeting. Would you be up to that?

Good Morning @markus_sigel What you're writing is one way it works: Just paste in a competitor's website, and the AI extracts pain points and goals. Do this with a few competitors, and you'll get a detailed buyer persona in no time. Additionally, we provide presets - for entire buyer personas - to get started. But what surprises me most is using the AI to get additional suggestions: 1) Enter a job title, and the AI will suggest pain points and goals. 2) Enter a pain or goal you've already discovered, and the AI will suggest additional ones you've never thought about. Sometime the suggestions make me smile, but sometimes I'm really stunned how precise - and creative - they are. What are you using personas for right now?

So, I thought I can ask them to create a persona and plan contents based on it is good for both educating them and generating better contents. Hi, I can't find a way to autogenerate a persona for a competitor. I only found a way to add a new persona to a coffee mug demo project that was created after I signed up. Am I missing something?

Hi @vladnicula Thanks for asking! And no worries: The "Magic Coffee Mug" is just our demo product, so you can play around without having to enter anything. Here's how you get started: 1) Click the GETitOUT logo at the top-left to go to the Dashboard. 2) Here you find all your workspaces. Click "New Workspace". 3) The fastest way would be to then choose "Empty Workspace". (Alternatively, the assistant takes you through a full setup, which requires about 5 minutes). 4) Once in the new workspace, click "Competitors" in the left sidebar menu, and add your competitors! Again, you could also just add buyer personas into the workspace (by clicking on "Personas" in the left menu), then click "New Persona", and use the "Extract" button in the grey banner to extract pain points and goals from a competitor's website. Hope that helps! Also, happy to jump on a quick call later this week to figure out together how you can make the most out of GETitOUT. Just let me know!

Congrats on the launch! What I love about GETitOUT is that it helps us to create our prospects personas so easily. In the past we used to brainstorm like crazy and still can't come to a conclusion. With this app it just fixed all the problems for us.

Hi @haserk The short answer: YES :-) Love that you're asking, because - as a designer - you finally stop working with Lorem Ipsum. Instead, you use GETitOUT to create personas fast (if your client doesn't have them yet). And whether you're working in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, ... you open the GETitOUT browser extension, and have access to all your clients and their personas and texts. But I'm curious: What are you designing specificially?

@haserk I love this question (I'm the designer) ❤️ And the answer is YES, as designers we are faced with incomplete briefings or without information, personally they always ask me to design and they don't tell me who it is for, or they don't know how to explain it (some clients)... In my experience, it is there where by quickly generating a "Persona" you can have an idea of ​​who you are designing, document references in Notes (moodboard), get to know them thoroughly, know which will be the best way to communicate, even generate drafts of texts and some materials such as presentations or websites that can help you design without empty canvas. ⚡️ You can also add logos, colors, fonts of your client, and consult them anywhere (thanks to Chrome & Edge), if you are in Figma, for example, you can open the browser extension, copy and paste your images, colors, texts, and advance your designs much faster. 💪🏻 It would be great if you try it, please tell me any questions. I am very curious, what is your biggest challenge as a designer? 🤔 (maybe it's not my own pain)

Pero a veces puede ser muy repetitivo o hasta tedioso el definir que debe tener esa persona para cada proyecto o cliente (cuando trabajé de freelancer, por ejemplo). Contar con una herramienta que facilite todo este proceso puede facilitar muchos procesos. Feliz de conectar contigo y ofrecer más feedback de ser necesario.
