I'll keep this brief:
- Launched 45 days ago.
- 300 sign ups so far.
- $100 MRR so far (good validation: 'people are ready to pay for it')
- REALLY BAD conversion to paid. <5%.
Issue I identified:
- About 60% of the initial 200 signups couldn't figure out the app and weren't able to really 'try it' (lack of/bad onboarding)
Fix:
- Introduced a cheap onboarding workflow which reduced this to about 35% for the next 100 sign ups.
I still consider it quite bad since some users do reach out and tell me that 'they could have used a bit more hand holding'.

Bottomline is, I'm going to initiate a deep coding sprint to hit product activation from multiple angles. And would love it if you could make any recommendations of:
1. tools (framework, libraries, etc.)
2. resources (articles, newsletters you liked, YT Playlist?)
That helped YOU for your apps to sort of .. get 'educated' on the topic.
I have tons of ideas to improve it, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel, and would rather do it once but do it really well.
Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated <3
Cheers,
Junaid
