Asking for budget upfront can filter out non-serious inquiries but may also deter potential clients. What's your experience with this?

@nixkulinax I don't have any but those are my concerns. I might be interested in a service but if I don't know my budget I might not write to them. And also, people who don't have budgets might just put something down to get a meeting anyway. I think I'll go without.
