I think it comes down to if you want to. If you feel passionate and creative, go for it, and work for as long as you want. If you want to rest, that's fine too. Do whatever as long as you don't judge or shame yourself - you can aim to work on weekends, but you should be completely ok with yourself if you don't. That's the best way IMO to keep yourself motivated for the long haul
@gal_moran18 some true words.
Even if you feel passionate and creative you need some days off from time to time. At least in my perception.
But it sounds like a good credo.
Do you always follow it, though?
@milappert Lol I wish. I'm getting better as I grow, but still have some weekends that I set unrealistic expectations from myself and then getting mad because I didn't complete everything
Is there such a thing as rest time? I thought that was just a myth! But in all seriousness, it's important to take breaks and recharge so we can continue to crush it during the week. Balance is key, my friends!
@milappert Snowboarding in the winter. Hiking in the summer. These two help me to clear my mind and recover both physically and mentally. How about you?
@gtsiramua started paragliding 5 years ago and absolutely love it. As well mounteneering, climbing and cycling!
Definitively need some activity to refresh!
@thisismeihere same here!
I actually do not like to work on the weekend since i need to get some rest. Otherwise i will be tired the entire time.
There are weekend where i work though. Would rather like not to.
@maxwellcdavis this sounds really consistent!
I would love to have this as well and have already tried several times.
Always failed.
How do you manage to keep consistency?
