Why are there so many bot comments on Product Hunt now?

I think Product Hunt managers need to pay attention! There are really a lot of bot comments now. At first, I just thought they didn't understand the topic of the discussion, but the responses have become more and more absurd! It's really annoying to have people like this. While I also hope my discussions get many replies, these bots are not welcome! They are ruining the positive community atmosphere. They are just trying to score points for profit! I hope PH managers can see this!

Hey there, I completely agree with your observation. The influx of bot comments has indeed become quite noticeable and it's starting to affect the quality of our conversations on Product Hunt. It's crucial for the community to maintain an environment where real, meaningful discussions can flourish, and the presence of bots can undermine that. The Product Hunt team should definitely take this into account and consider implementing measures to identify and mitigate the impact of these automated responses. Ensuring the integrity of the community's dialogue is essential for the platform's growth and the user experience. I hope that by voicing our concerns, we can encourage the team to take action and preserve the positive and engaging atmosphere that Product Hunt is known for.

I initially started browsing ProductHunt because there were many great products. However, over time, many of these great products have been buried in the rankings. It's such a pity.

THIS IS really annoying and unproductive for both users and makers.

Launching soon!
I can't agree more. This is the reason why people are becoming more dumb instead of smart (how AI has been marketed or promoted). I'm all in for using AI to understand a discussion and getting pointers to formulate the right answers. But, at the core, and at every checkpoint, it should be you, not AI. How else can someone expect to learn something, put out their thoughts, ideas, experience, etc? All I know is excess of anything is bad. Using too much AI will bite you (who's using bots) in the @ss someday.
