Flutter is definitely making strong moves, especially with its performance benefits across platforms. But I wouldn't count React Native out given its maturity and ecosystem. Interesting to see Tauri mentioned as a potential dark horse with its web tech + native perf approach. KMM could be a solid option for teams already invested in Kotlin. Lots of viable choices but those seem like the main frameworks to watch in the next few years! Keen to see how it all plays out.

React Native definitely has a strong foothold, but I wouldn't sleep on Flutter. Its performance gains and multi-platform support are pretty impressive. Tauri is also one to keep an eye on for bridging web tech with native-like performance. Could shake things up in the next few years! KMM is another strong contender to watch in this space.

I think Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is going to be a strong contender in 2025. Even when it was still in alpha, being able to entirely share the data layer between Android and iOS was a game-changer for me—it made development so much more efficient and cohesive. Now that KMM is in beta, I’ve been able to extend that convenience to sharing everything up to the presentation layer and state management without any hassle. It feels like the ecosystem is finally maturing, and the seamless integration with existing native projects gives it an edge over some of the other frameworks. Definitely one to watch as it continues to evolve!
