I like to present my ideas in features by telling stories in a context. That way I'm able to explain every design decision while keeping them engaged

Definitely create a detailed design brief! Outlining the project goals, target users, and rationale behind each design choice helps get clients on the same page. I find including relevant research, wireframes, and design iterations in an organized doc goes a long way in selling the final designs. The brief becomes a central reference point you can circle back to if questions or doubts come up later in the process too.
