What will your job be like in 10 years?
With emerging technologies like AI, AR, robotics, and progressing digitalization and automation, it's easy to see that most jobs will change drastically in the next 10 years.
How do you think your job will change until 2033?
And what kind of new technologies would need to be developed for that?

My goal as a designer could be to foster a dynamic skill set that seamlessly integrates emerging technologies and design principles. Aim to stay at the forefront of design trends same as I designed return policy, continually refining your craft to create visually compelling and user-centric experiences. Cultivate expertise in areas such as AI-driven design, augmented and virtual reality, and responsive design for a diverse array of interfaces.

I can only wonder, honestly :D There's such a huge difference between 2013 and 2023 that I'm even somewhat afraid to make any predictions for 2033.
Love this thread! A few of my thoughts:
1. In the wake of tech layoffs, corporations will analyze the ROI of each employee with greater scrutiny --> will need software to measure each employees output relative to their pay or level.
2. COVID allowed employees more freedom on WHERE they work. The next decade will be about WHEN you work. --> AI and asynch forms of communication will allow employees to collaborate, communicate, and even respond to inquiries without being physically behind their computer.
3. Companies hire no-code developers to create automations, workflows, MVPs, dashboards and internal software tools for high speed, low cost development.
I want to continue creating products for people. By the way, I have a launch on Monday!

In 10 years, the landscape of most jobs, including mine, will likely be deeply influenced by technologies like AI, AR, and robotics. I anticipate a significant shift towards more collaborative and adaptive roles where human expertise complements technological capabilities. The ability to interpret and utilize AI-generated insights will be crucial. Moreover, continuous learning and adaptability will become even more important as new technologies emerge.
For this future, we'd need advancements in intuitive user interfaces for complex systems, enhanced AI algorithms for predictive analytics, and better integration of AR in training and development. These technologies will not only change how we work but also enable new forms of collaboration and creativity.

You never know what's going to happen in the future. Honestly because AI already started to be an important and valuable technology I suppose it will be a big part in not only software development.
There might be even new technologies, that will be discovered in these 10 years which blow our minds.
