One thing we realised with Hubspot is that if you have it as your Sales CRM where you also keep your users as well, then if you are looking to send marketing emails (either as part of an active or inactive journey), you have to either swallow the Hubspot marketing module pricing or use an external marketing software and find that you then also need Zapier to integrate the two. The latter is the route we took as we got more functionality from Mailerlite and it was cheaper than Hubspot Marketing even though we had to use Zapier (the Hubspot native Mailerlite integration didn't work for us and you also need to take the Operations Hub to do so). In hindsight, I may have just remained with Hubspot Marketing and swallowed the cost as we spent time looking for an alternative - but for now, we are happy with what we have chosen and we do get more from Mailerlite anyway. And let me tell you - I am so glad that headache has gone!
