I know that most founders know how hard it is to get product of the day, so they strive for the reward at all costs. In my opinion, when the product of the day award is achieved by rather primitive or useless projects, i.e. without significant contribution to the industry or social life of the community, it devalues the efforts of those people who really create something meaningful. But we have what we have.
I think being a product of the day has its perks as there will be more conversions as well. However, it all depends on your targets! We are targeting to reach more people in our launch of AppSave today!
@lenny_jeans I absolutely agree, but if they already have a lot of users without any recognized accomplishments, then that might be the reason why founders tend to win the award
