What is something you would tell your 18 year old self?

Post high school, pre university/college. What do you wish you had known? I can go first. I would tell myself to be more curious and pursue things outside of my peer group. University will help with that, but even then not being scared to try new things even if they seem silly is a great skill to have. The beauty of the PH community btw, is that there are so many people building so many things based on their own curiosities. What would you tell your 18 year old self?

The assumption that university is the best path for you is an expensive one. Instead, find people who are building cool things, and figure out how you can work with them. Start experimenting and exploring as soon as possible. That's where the joy is, working on things you care about and growing in the process.
