What in your experience makes a good team?
Hey,
I just recently started working on a startup and assembling a team. And I am curious, what makes a good team? Is it effective because of individually effective members, their soft skills or maybe because of a good leader?

I would say all mentioned are playing an important role. Additionally overall chemistry and compatibility / complementing personalities and skill sets within any given team. And not to forget team spirit and dedication to one's work and growth.

I would say it's not just one thing, but I believe people being able to collaborate with team members who aren't in their field (e.g. designers collaborating with engineers) effectively is one of the big contributors. Getting a feel of what the ability is of each team member and what is possible leads to a product being developed quicker.
@oscar_wehbe couldn't agree more. I noticed that speaking the same language with my teammates really improved the quality of communication and influenced the final result.
