What do you think of lifetime deal platforms ?

I see more and more entrepreneurs talk about the fallouts of their experience with lifetime deal platforms like AppSumo. And while it can boost visibility and generate some cash upfront, it brings life long customer support, low engagement customers… What’s your experience ?

From the customer's perspective, I don't use any lifetime deal products. I feel like it kind of brings down the value of the product in customer's eyes.
