If my brain gets overloaded, I like to disconnect with a good sci fi book. Sometimes, when I get really burned out, I'll take a day off and just read. It always resets me!
Otherwise, I have a daily meditation and yoga practice. This helps me reset every day.
@william_b_serna Guess it's up to individual preferences. I use the Roobet casino app mainly, but I look for others from time to time. You can go here if you want to check it out: http://roobet.jp/
I once read that there are 3 types of fatigue: emotional, physical and intellectual
and depending on which type you encounter, you should treat it with one of the others
for example, if you've been socialising too much (emotional) - now is a good time to watch a lecture (intellectual) or go for a bike ride (physical)
if you have 2 out of 3 — choose the remaining one and so on
When feeling down, watching a scary movie never fails to lift my spirits. I find that immersing myself fully, without pausing or closing my eyes, and embracing the jump scares is remarkably invigorating. Give it a try and experience the refreshing feeling for yourself!
To refresh my mind, I indulge in a techno-detox by taking long walks through the debugging forest, where the only bugs I encounter are the ones buzzing around me! How about you, what's your secret mind-refreshing potion?
