I have been thinking about this lately. I can't remember joining a products community other than a community driven support forum.

@martina_hackbartt when they are needed, however I find most are dead or have low engagement unless it's a larger company with a massive customer base.
depends on what the community revolves around. our app & community is about trading stock, futures, forex, and crypto. so theres a lot of incentive for new traders to join, and for veterans as well. we use discord, 18,000 members 1 year later
