I think this is the wrong question. You have to think of, what do you get for your paid social ads.
- it could be registrations for your product
- it could be visibility
- it could be a community
- ...
Here is how I would tackle this topic:
- can I target my audience?
- what do I want to tell/sell?
- what will it cost me?
- what do I expect to get back?
and then try it out and monitor the results.
It depends on the ad, the network and the audience
For example Twitter, I don't know anyone who ran really successful Twitter ads, on the other hand Facebook & LinkedIn seem to work great for some products
@fscholz selecting social media channels can be a bit tricky, as it largely depends on the objective you have in mind for your ads. Personally, I find Twitter ads to be effective for awareness campaigns, while for conversion campaigns, I always prefer platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
Paid social ads can offer significant ROI by targeting specific demographics and interests, making them a valuable tool for businesses looking to expand their reach. However, it's crucial to continuously optimize and monitor these campaigns to ensure they meet your marketing objectives effectively.
Paid social ads can be highly effective for reaching your target audience and driving conversions, but they require careful planning and optimization. I've found success by starting small, testing different ad variations, and continuously refining targeting based on performance data.
