Is it a good approach for B2B companies to include YouTube as part of their social media strategy? If so, what kind of videos would you recommend these companies make in order to keep the audience's attention longer?

It gives you free marketing and where users would know what type of solution you are providing. I think is important also because users do research about the companies and having a good presence on youtube increases your presence in market

Product demos, webinars, podcasts; all these are gaining popularity and including these in your marketing strategy is a good thing.

From my experience Youtube can be a good source of referral traffic. if you run affiliate program a lot of people will make video review of your tool. Youtube ads is also quite good. Typically get a CPA lower than google search, but there is a really quick ad fatigue. I recommend to disable it after 2 months.

You can cross purpose any video content that you have - Webinars (Snip to use on tiktok / Youtube shorts) - Training videos - Throw them on Youtube - Podcasts - same thing. The name of the game is using that same content on multiple platforms.
