What are the most common mistakes people make when launching on Product Hunt?
I’m gearing up to launch my company’s product on Product Hunt and want to make sure we execute it in the best possible way.
To help with our planning, I’m curious: What do most people underestimate when launching a product here? What are some common mistakes to avoid?

Speaking from experience, I should have been more active in the discussions, follow more people and upvote more products before the launch

Hi! Definitely building a community beforehand and checking the rules well before posting. You need high quality content and beware of spam like upvotes. It can get your product rank lower if PH suspects fishy behavior.
Idk what are my mistakes, but I apparently had them all, coz the PH algorithm hates us for some reason.
