I used the following methods in my work:
Surveys and Questionnaires: They can help gather initial feedback about a product idea, understand market needs, or test potential product names or features.
Interviews: Start by speaking directly with friends, family, or acquaintances who might be part of your target market. It helps in understanding deep-seated needs, pain points, and desires of potential users.
Competitive Analysis: Researching competitors or related products can offer insights into what's working in the market. Look at product reviews, customer testimonials, and Q&A sections.
Ideal Customer Profile: Creating detailed customer personas helps you visualize and understand your potential users' needs, challenges, and behaviors. It's based on a mix of educated guesses and any market research data you can gather.
What is your favorite method and why?
