Hey everyone! PlayerZero recently went #1 here on Product Hunt, so we decided to write an article to share our strategy and takeaways from our exhausting but rewarding launch. Is there anything in particular you'd like to see covered that would be helpful as you prepare for your own launch?

Congrats on your launch Animesh! Would love to hear more about what marketing tools or techniques you utilised to help you get #1. Also, did PR help with that in any way and if so how?
@jorgo_qirjaj Thanks Jorgo! We'll be making a whole section on our GTM tools/techniques that should give you some good answers. We didn't utilize any PR going into the launch but we leveraged our networks about as heavily as we possibly could and definitely considered PR as an option. When do you plan on launching?

myth 1- launch time and launch day is as important as pre-launch engagement.
myth 2 - you have to be well connected with influencers (hunters and other makers) to have a successful launch
@jane_makarevich This is a great one - we'll provide our target KPIs going into launch and contrast them to the results we actually got on launch day to give you a full picture
@oksana_ch Hmm, that's a good question. Personally, I'd have to say dealing with competitors on launch day who utilize bot traffic - we'll talk more in depth on this in the article but it was a massive headache for sure

I would be very pleased if you could tell me how you promote your product on social media sites and how you increase interest, what features you pay attention to in your pitch deck, and how you work in product hunt!

Amazing initiative :) Since I'm right before our first launch next week, I've read so many articles in the past month. The thing I was missing the most was the interaction with the hunter (for example who submits the product to the website - hunter/maker). In addition, I was missing advice about how people generated their community of supporters - practical tactics. Anyways, I'll be looking forward to reading your article.
