We really should slow down with OpenAI wrappers

So much of the new products today, on PH or not, are OpenAI wrappers. While indeed some of these projects are very cool, should we really be building many variations of the same thing? Honestly, I think creativity is lacking a little on the business marketing right now. Don't get me wrong - AI is amazing and you can build great things with it, but it is not the only tool. The problem with this "gold run" is that these kinds of products are very much saturated, and nowadays it's very easy to build such. My argument is that there are many people out there who can build amazing things, but sometimes they just go with the market flow (AI) instead of letting their imagination express its ideas. I feel like it lacks authenticity. What is your opinion about it? Do you agree or disagree?

This will happen for every opportunity. There was the California gold rush, the dot com bubble, the housing crash, crypto and NFTs, etc. What makes a business thrive will always remain the same; do people actually want to buy what you're selling? People will build what inspires them, and that can come from anywhere! You don't see many coal traders nowadays.

@my_phung It feels more like the NFT rush than a coal trader, I got your point. That's the problem - inspiration. Some people are so blindly following the AI rush that they sacrifice their inspiration to fit on this market. I 100% agree with you that people should build what inspires them.
