• Linear → Best Jira alternative I've come across
• Notion → Best note-taking app, though Craft is close
• Asana / Trello → Best for project management
@thisismeihere I agree. I've been a Trello user for 5 years and Notion for the last three months. Although now that I've seen both, I would say that for someone who only wants to use one platform, Notion will come on top.
Trello is a great kanban board but sucks at documentation.
Notion is a great documentation platform, but also has passable kanban features.
I use both here and there through working at Unito, where we integrate B2B tools.
I think Notion is great if you want a lot of customization and to build things from the ground up. There is a lot of flexibility. It can be a knowledge base, content calendar etc.
Trello, on the other hand, is built to tackle project management, without much configuration. You can also customize it the way you want, but perhaps not as far as Notion.
I think bothe have different use cases.
if you just want a kanban board, you can trellow, but if you want to write content, take notes and organize things, you can use Notion
