Tell me how you translate your product now? AI or translators?
There's a debate about whether translators will still be needed in the future with AI. In my opinion, translators won't disappear, but their role may change.
I can't fully trust AI translations into Chinese, Japanese, etc. So, I still order proofreading from translators.
How do you translate your products now? Could you share your experience?

I think there's indeed an issue with AI translating into Asian languages, at least at the current moment of the AI engines development. I can't fully trust the outcome of AI when it comes to Chinese, Japanese or Korean. I'd probably opt for a combination of AI draft translation + its proofreading by a real human, native speaker + providing the proofreader with my source text in English, to make sure the text AI suggested still has the same meaning and tone of voice.

I use a combination of AI translation + human proofreading by native speakers for Asian languages. AI is still not fully trustworthy for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean in my experience. I have the AI do a first pass, then a human translator reviews it to ensure the meaning and tone are still accurate compared to the English source text. Best of both worlds - AI efficiency with native speaker oversight!

We primarily use AI for translation, leveraging advanced algorithms for speed and efficiency. However, professional human translators review and refine the content to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance, combining the strengths of both technologies for optimal results.

While AI translations are getting better, they often lack the nuances of human translators—like understanding when "dragon" is a compliment or an insult. We still rely on professional translators, especially for complex languages. Interestingly, this blend of AI and human expertise is similar to our approach with "Her Ideal Match," where data science meets human insight to decode dating preferences. So, I’d say translators are here to stay, just with a bit of AI assistance.
