Sometimes I just feel like I'm drowning in all the info my brain is downloading online - does anyone else feel that?
What do you do to get past it and refocus yourself?
all notifications — off
imagine you have to choose only 3 best resources to follow — do it (if you'll miss the ones you left behind, then they're worth it)
try to start noticing how refreshed your brain becomes after a walk in the park (etc) without your phone — this will help you gradually shift to a mode of less information consumption
I just build some AI tools that summarize everything for me 😅
For example, I tried to stay up to date with 3 tech newsletters but couldn't read them all (and most times they'd mention the same things). So I just built a tool that will read them for me and summarize it all in bullet points (with links in case I want to go deeper).
I use tools like task managers and note-taking apps to organize and prioritize information. Breaking things down into manageable chunks helps me stay focused.
I practice mindfulness and take regular breaks to clear my mind. This helps me maintain a clear focus and prevents information overload from affecting my productivity.
