Should AI providers worry about EU AI Act?

The EU AI Act came into force yesterday, with penalties of up to €35 million or 7% of annual turnover. How is this really affecting those creating real AI?

@elenat I agree, but honestly I think that regulations are a must in this AI career. For the first time, the ethics and moral are crucial in the technology deployment and the society we are just "puppets" of the high tech companies

@m_hassan_sajjad Sure... But my point is that I am not sure that companies and "media" is really worried about this regulations. The hace other issues more important than comply with this. What do you think?
