Memento mori literally means "Remember you must die".
It is an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death.
Not the typical motivational quote but already the Romans used it to stay aware and attentive at everything you do.
So keep on doing what you love and if you don't like what you are doing stop and start doing something else :)
