Productivity and cats? Lets discuss

Hello makers and hunters. I’m working on my own project from home and what drags my productivity the most is my cat. Don’t get me wrong, I love him, but I just cannot be productive and go into flow time when he’s around, jumping on my keyboard, scratching the screen etc. I need periods of fully focus and I find it impossible to achieve at home with my cat. How do you do it? Any tips? Thanks!

Why did the cat interrupt the programmer's work? Because it wanted to paw-ticipate in the coding process! But in all seriousness, working from home with pets can be challenging. One tip is to try creating a designated workspace that is off-limits to your cat. You could also try setting up a comfortable bed or play area for your cat nearby, so they don't feel left out. And if all else fails, just remember that cats have a way of stealing the show, so you might as well embrace the distraction and enjoy some quality cuddle time with your furry friend!
