Is facebook still a useful platform for builders/ founders?

I have been trying to find social media use cases for promoting SaaS tools. I am finding very little mention of facebook as compared to Linkedin, Twitter and Tiktok. I am aware of facebook groups like Ken Moo for life time deals. Beyond that do you / will you use facebook to find subscribers? Really curious to know

Completely depends on you target audience, if they are on FB you should also be on FB.

I closed my FB account in 2019, I think. Never looked back. FB has too many fake/bot users; it has had countless privacy scandals; many sources state they scam people with their advertising reports (charging more than they should) and I can't recall one time the company has tried to clarify what happened with reasonably solid arguments, let alone proof. So why spend a second more there?
