Inviting clients as beta testers to your SaaS product

That's what we want to do in Zendo, but I wonder if anyone else did it before and could share some wisdom. Were there any nasty surprises or was it totally worth it? After all, clients have different and much more "fresh" perspective. Any advice how to make the whole process smoother or what to avoid?

Based on my experience with Zendo, the process was generally worth it, but to make it smoother, I'd recommend clear communication with clients to align expectations, careful planning to avoid potential delays or unexpected costs, and soliciting feedback regularly for a more "fresh" perspective, as clients' unique insights can highlight areas for improvement that may not be apparent from an internal viewpoint.
