Impact of social capital in scaling the business

Most of my life I was more of an introvert. Once I realized that I want to be an entrepreneur, I learned to overcome fears of meeting new people and public speaking. Now, I still believe that people with big social capital have immense advantage over the lonely wolves when it comes to scaling projects. Knowing right people from various industries saves you months of researching. On the other hand, as you become obsessed with growing your network, you feel you can't do much without others. Instead of only relying on yourself, you first skim down contacts, thinking who can do the job. You remain proactive, but seeking assistance makes you more dependent. What are your thoughts? Would you invest extra time in building relationships or getting new skills? I see the right environment as a big factor of success. This is why I run https://razum.app/ which helps people reach fundamental goals, and I'd love to get your feedback.

I research personal and team networks (I mean the scientific field based on graph theory, not social media). In most cases, you should develop an open network. How open will depend on your field (In social science everything depends on some thing). Riskiness of ideas and how difficult it is to explain something to others plays also a role.
