1. Chat with friends: Seek positive feedback. 2. Run: It helps me calm down. 3. Hike with my kids: My kids always give me strength.

Listening to feelings. Trying to understand the causes of them and what can be done. Planning. Being with close ones and seeking for support. Walking or exercising. Reading: some self-help psychology books can be very supporting and nourishing. If it's not getting better, seeking for professional help.

Accept the feelings of depression, allowing myself the space to process them firstly. Then, I will give some time for myself to engage in enjoyable activities, such as reading, walking dogs and so on to bring comfort.

The first step is to acknowledge that you're feeling depressed and that it's okay, you know. It's rather hard to feel amazing all the time. I like to sit with the feeling for a while - sometimes, I'll listen to music that speaks to the feeling. Other times, if I have things to do, then I do them regardless to the best of my ability. Sometimes, simply being involved in doing something helps me shift my mind away from the feeling. If it doesn't, what encourages me to continue working towards things, is the understanding that the feeling will go away, and I will feel better later. I'm sure the feeling goes away for you too. Maybe it doesn't go away the same day, perhaps it takes a day or two. But the feeling does go away, right? So, I adjust myself by acknowledging the feeling, sitting with it for a while thinking about what might be causing it (is it because there's this thing at the back of my mind that I haven't addressed for a while?) and then continuing to do what I need to, having faith that the feeling will go away. Eventually, it does. I hope you're kind to yourself till it goes away, pal.

Depends if this is just a short episode or a long one. For short I just stop forcing myself to work, I do whatever I feel like doing at the moment. If I don't feel like doing anything I just let myself procrastinate for some days and I try to find hapinnes in small things like food, meeting with people etc.

Brisk walking :) or any kind of sport.

Exercise or simply go for a walk. Stay off social media and try to keep my mind focused on purposeful activities (vs mindless scrolling). Introspect and/or journal.

Mindfulness helps. Watching comedy shows on Netflix/Youtube helps. Being with friends helps

1/ Do exercise, both cardio and strength training, I find that cardio quickly adjusts the emotional state. In addition I will include some traditional programs in my training, such as Tai Chi and standing stakes. 2/ Perform mental exercises, mainly breathing exercises, some breathing rhythms can effectively relieve poor mood and inject new energy into the body. 3/ Spend time with family and friends, have some good food and drink. If you are already in a bad mood, why not do something that makes you happy, engaging in these things with family and friends can be effective in avoiding over intake and addiction.

Take some time to be alone, rest without any pressure, and do whatever exercise feels manageable. Btw, recently, I found that I can use ChatGPT to help me dive deeper into understanding the root causes of my depressive feelings and the academic theories behind them. It also gives me more tailored suggestions for adjusting. Honestly, it’s starting to feel like my personal mental health coach ^^
