How would you promote a web3/nft hackathon for web2 ppl? [Building in Public]

- What would you do? I am curious, most of the time the community has the best ideas. Swarm intelligence beats everything :)! - So thats my approach to build in public in terms of business development. I dont want to have my learning behind closed doors. When smb reads this in a few weeks/months/yr he should find some valueble tips. Background: - We launch our web3/nft hackathon: https://hackathon.polkastarter.com/ from Nov 11-13 (deadline to apply 7th) - Might be a cool chance for ppl with web2 skills (ux/ui/dev etc.) to try web3/blockchain (no special knowledge needed about blockchain, crypto, nft etc.) - Its remote (also in lisbon) with great prizes. Hi Robin. I think many people are working for Web2 companies for several years and they may be tired of working on same thing/project in that time - happens often. Hence, telling them about new exciting opportunity where they can explore new frontiers and moving forward fast, is something which would caught my attention. How exactly would you reach out to such people is second thing -> I would try local meetups, or if you want to reach more people (as this would be a remote hackathon), I'd try to connect via online startup communities which communicate using Slack. There's several lists where you can find such communities, eg. https://www.startups.com/library... Not all of people read those slack messages everyday, hence, I would try to come up with some easy to execute gamification, eg. "bring your friend over and get a free POAP", to help spread word of mouth. As for how to do this (with limited time), I would think about brining in "interns", eg. from universities or right after they finish university and delegate these tasks to them; in exchange for connecting them to good teams/firms and providing good word/reference, when they look for work. Are my suggestions in line of how you think about this?
