How have real-world meetups and changed over the past two years?

I'd love to know if anyone has started going back to any in-person meetups. How have they changed? New customs, new tech, new processes? Anything that's changed for the better? I'm thinking specifically of smaller things like networking events, but feel free to talk about your experiences at conferences, festivals, conventions, etc.
