How do you plan new features to develop for your product?
I find customer interviews most helpful when it comes to this. Whatever active users might need is likely to improve our platform as a whole.
What are your alternate methods of identifying new features to add on your products?

@otto8_ wow, I should definitely ask ChatGPT about this! Eventually I would have to run it through existing users to validate the idea though right?
Well, we like to throw darts at a whiteboard full of potential features and see what sticks. Just kidding, we also listen to customer feedback and conduct extensive research on industry trends. But the dart idea is still on the table... 😂✋🚀
I also think user interviews are effective. However, I think we need to interview a large number of users to collect reliable data. And we need to focus on common opinions.
@anna_choi definitely, the more the better. Still, a few consistent anecdotes from a handful of loyal users would be valuable I think.
Are you asking about feature prioritization or writing feature descriptions for developers?

@deniz_sutas Ahh, okay. In this case, it boils down to research. Define ICP (ideal customer profile), and research the problem and the market. Customer feedback is a crucial part of it.
