Social media for business is no longer optional. It's an essential way to reach your customers, gain valuable insights, and grow your brand. Do you think that any business can grow without SMM?
I love this question and it's so timely as I just read this thread on LinkedIn that really resonated with me:

To sum up, I think that too many brands view organic social as a way to distribute content and grow their business when really, social is a brand building opportunity.
A B2B business could easily grow without SMM. Although social media like LinkedIn could be quite helpful in this domain, it's not a necessity. In some niches, there are so few players that they get to know each other the old way.
There are also some cases when a B2C business doesn't need SMM that much. (Like, some small local businesses, some service providers).
But these cases are more of exceptions.
Social media is essential, it's the first place customers go to get support and updates. It is also a channel for brand expression you might not be able to do on a website or ad such as your brand voice and values.
It's actually one of the most important channel to market your business, build trust among your audience and potential clients. Can not be ignored these days.
