My observation says that for tech giants the steps are being taken sincerely as they have the bandwidth, motivation and social pressure as well. However, same cannot be said for startups. And tech making the highest number of startups, it's a concerning sign.

Really badly (in the Indian context)? Diversity and Exclusion policies are usually in place in most tech companies, but, when it comes to money and hiring decisions, there is clearly a lack of a diverse opinion set in the higher echelons of tech (few CEOs, COOs and co-founders fall into the brackets)
@uttiya_roy thanks for sharing. I had no idea about the situation in the tech world in India, but can see it's much the same as in the states.
I think we are doing better from what I can see. I see more diverse faces at various companies and I am making more connects with different people from different backgrounds.
