How and why did you learn how to code?
Learning to code is a journey that varies for everyone. For many, it begins with a curious mind and a desire to create. We learn to code because it empowers us to turn our ideas into reality. I learned during my Computer Science bachelor, in Italy.
It's funny because I started as an Electronic Engineer, which has less programming (and a different kind), and I had no idea I was going to love programming.
Then, after the first programming course, I just had such a good feeling while studying and exercising on programming-related stuff, so I decided to actually change the course I enrolled in and decided my new path.
9 years later, I am a co-founder of a software company. Life is funny!

@gabriele_mazzola I see i was asking as I was in a similar situation but i was in aerospace but i was 3 years in. :P Life is funny indeed
@dailyfitnessai I still believe in aerospace you guys do a lot of coding, right? Probably a different type of codice than in CS, but still, the concepts translate 100% across languages!

I learned how to code because I was curious about how computers work. I also wanted to be able to create my own software. I learned to code by taking online courses and reading books and articles on the subject. I also practiced coding by working on personal projects.
I decided to learn code because the server for a game I played as a child was discontinued and I wanted to build and restore it as my own server.
In Japan, there was more demand for infrastructure maintenance personnel than for programmers, so I got a job wrestling with servers and network. But during the job, I found out that I enjoyed working as a programmer to develop applications and middleware more, so I decided to live as a software engineer.
I completely forget about the childhood dream as working in the game industry nowadays. I enjoy what I do for living right now!👍
