My previous team made a launch through PH back in 2015 (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) and we get Product of The Day and enough paid users to cover all technical expenses every month up to five years while the product was alive.
Interesting to know your experiences. We are in the first week of launch (3rd product of a day) and for now is fantastic. More than 2000 clicks on website and more than 200 registrations. But long term we shall see :)
