Have you programmed from your phone?

2
This past week marked the start of our user testing phase. During the testing, an unexpected issue arose that needed immediate attention. However, at that exact moment, my toddler fell asleep on me, and I didn't want to disturb them. So, I found myself reaching for my phone. I quickly navigated to GitHub, resolved the issue, and committed the code using my phone. It was definitely an intriguing experience, but I have to admit that programming on my phone left much to be desired. Do you ever find yourself programming from your phone? And if so, do you enjoy it?

I’ve used the AnyDesk app on my ipad to access my computer so I can manage some server settings. It definitely wasn’t an enjoyable experience, but it helped me achieve what I needed to do.

Yup! Usually nothing too crazy but it takes one of two forms: - wireframing an feature idea or bugfix using Claude or ChatGPT - ssh'ing into my servers and coding or deploying fixes in vim using the Termius app
