Google Ads for startups?

I feel like Google Ads have a bad stigma when used by startups. However, in my previous company Google Ads had the lowest CPA for us and the company was successfully acquired later. What is your opinion?

It's better to start with a tool that will automate your sales outreach rather than spending so much money on Google Ads from the beginning.

I think I need to test different hypotheses to know exactly what fits and what doesn't :)
