G2 or Capterra? Which platform is preferable for a startup's review campaign?

I think a startup should work with both platforms.

You can find different profiles on each platform and even inside of Capterra. Basically, Capterra is part of the Gartner Digital Markets platforms which are Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice. The experience I have at the moment is that G2 is more for US market and Capterra more for Europe, however, I can find traffic coming from both markets. Which one should I use for my startup? The one that my users use... So, if you find that your users are in G2, use that one. I will choose based on where I have more users. Are your users in Product Hunt?
