I've manually curated a list of 1500+ AI tools and as per my learnings in this journey, there's some lack on both sides (user and tools).
1. Users, don't have the same excitement about using a tool as exactly as they have while knowing about that tool.
2. Tools, the builder who's building these tools, should focus more on the use case side. Example: AI generating images is awesome, but what are all the ways I can use it? How can it help me? - the basic use cases are outdated, people want something more, something that can give more value.
3. Builders should also need to solve more unique problems in a similar category rather than solving the same problem with a similar solution but a better UI.
4. After some extent, it's expensive.
I'd like to know what you think. Is there any other reason for it?
