It increases your chances and likability when you are considering the VC route but then aside that, I don't think it matters so much. People are building amazing stuffs everyday and only a small fraction of that number holds an MBA

Nothing against MBAs but most startup ecosystems put little value on them. Objective proof that you can build something people want far outweighs.
