Animations are so trendy in UI lately. I was curious if you could provide some feedback.

I use animations, very often, because I think animation can be helpful for user experience, if used carefully. đź‘€ For example to communicate feedback or state changes. But, if animations are overused, they can distract users.

I have worked with many UX and UI designers; they use animation to move users across the interface, warn users of a change, influence users' decisions, and demonstrate a link between objects.
