Yes if leads them to an outcome that they will find valuable and will want to act on.. ie. to find out more about how you can help them.

I actually don't, I use polls when I want to engage more with the community. What do you mean by calculators ?

@cica_laure_mbappe Yeah..polls and surveys are also interactive content..!! Calculators like if you visit a financial advisory site you may bump into calculators like 'Calculate you loan payment', 'Savings calculator', etc.
